
Thermoforming Films
Flair forming and nonforming films are designed for today's demanding food packaging requirements. They have excellent formability, outstanding gloss and clarity, create strong seals and are available in both high and standard barriers. Flair films provide superior packaging integrity, along with optimal characteristics for packaging fresh and frozen foods such as cheeses, meats, surimi, frozen seafoods, bread products, pastas, sandwiches, egg rolls and much more.
The Flair stock program includes 5, 6, 7 and 9 mil films in both high and standard oxygen barriers. Nonforming films are also available in high and standard barrier in 2.8 mil and 4 mil gauges. Custom structures are available for peelable applications or for applications requiring alternative seal layers. We also offer Flair's outstanding rotogravure printing on both nonforming and forming films.
Products requiring oxygen barrier properties include:
High barrier: bacon, smoked meats, nonrefrigerated meat products, aged cheeses and anything that will oxidize or develop rancidity
Standard barrier: fresh meats, cheeses
Low barrier: meats held for more than two weeks
Very low barrier: fresh poultry, swiss cheese
Breathable: fresh fish, smoked fish, produce
